Priorita přidělování systémových prostředků procesům

Možná se zeptám hloupě, ale dá se v LM 18.3 z uživatelské úrovně ovlivnit/nastavit priorita přidělování systémových prostředků běžícím procesům? Jde mi o to, že pokaždé při stahování a instalaci aktualizací OS se v podstatě téměř zablokuje možnost pracovat na jiných úlohách. Například: Neotevře se nový list prohlížeče, na monitoru zatuhne nebo se zcela ztratí kurzor myši, celkově se zpomalí odezva systému... Je to vlastnost LM nebo chyba? Jestli chyba, kde ji mám hledat a co s ní?
