Mám LM16 64 a Grafiku RV610 Radeon HD 2400 PRO.
Připojení na TV mám přes VGA kabel v režimu PC. TV má nastavení 16:9 a je funkční.
Menu Displej zobrazuje neznámý typ a rozlišení 1024x768 4:3. Nic jiného nelze nastavit.
Video v VLC, nebo SMPlayer je ale v zobrazení 4:3, což znamená černé pruhy nahoře a dole pro film kódovaný v 16:9.
Další HW ovladače nejsou přístupné, ani DDM volba nic nemá .
Dají se někde stáhnout příslušné ovladače grafiky?
Poraďte prosím, jak vyřešit tento problém se zobrazováním.

Děkuji za nabídku catalystu, ale bylo to neúspěšné.
Omlouvám se za chybné zadání, ale LM16 mi zobrazil chybná data o grafické kartě.
Po rozebrání PC jsem zjistil, že gragika není ATI, ale GeForce a to Asus 210 Silent.
Mint chybně detekoval kartu a přepnul se do VGA modu. To je pak důsledek chyb.
Potřeboval bych napravit chybnou autodetekci a změnit parametry na skutečné, jenže nevím jak.

Nemas tam 2 graficke karty ?
Neni ten Radeon integrovany na Zakladnej doske, aky ma motherboard chipset (AMD) ?
Podivaj sa ci neni Nvidia vypnuta v BIOSe.

Našel jsem odpověď na mou otázku.
Vinu na rozlišení obrazovky měl kabel. Na původním, klasickém monitoru 4:3 byl VGA kabel zdánlivě vpořádku. Použitím jiného kabelu, patrně obsahujícího všechny piny zapojené, se rozlišení hned od startu Mintu nastavilo na 16:9, dle TV Samsung. Rovněž ve výpisu menu Displeje je již správná hodnota 1920x1080 16:9.
Děkuji za spoluúčast na mém trápení s ovladači.
Teď k předchozímu dotazu na Radeon. V PC mám MB bez integrované grafické karty. Ve výpisu # sudo lspci -v
je jednoznačně chybná definice Mintu na Radeon. Možná chyba pouze ve výpisu, ale funkčně je tam GeForce, jak se zobrazuje nForce při studeném startu s výpisem typu MB a grafiky. Chybička se vloudí, že ano.
Problém kabeláže je podobný i s HDMI. Levné kabely také fungují jen napůl. (zvuk)

Ak vyskusas spustit ine linuxove systemy ako LiveCD a v terminali vo vypise bude zobrazena ta graficka karta spravne,Ve výpisu # sudo lspci -v

potom by to bol problem Linux Mintu, keby povedzme na inych Operacnych systemoch bola GK detekovana spravne ako hovoris ty (nvidia).
Pokial to nevyskusas a nepodlozis vypismi z Terminalu, tak je to len tvoje tvrdenie.
